About this game
As a result of your insomnia, your character can never sleep. You can only complete your work or kill time playing video games. With the inability to sleep for the past few days, you start hallucinating strange realities. Realities that aren't possible, yet feel like they make sense. Play Gilbert's story to battling insomnia.

The Gameplay
Are You Awake is a short horror, first-person storytelling game with exploration and psychological tension. This game was developed quickly with little planning, so keep your expectations low!

"Are You Awake" Build is the first version released with some small bugs, but hardly noticeable.
"Are You Awake Final Build" is the last version of the game with bug fixes and additional gameplay changes.

really liked this, but I just wanted more. It gets so cool when you go to that other place and things start getting trippy—I just wish there had been more of that!

I think the game was really great, i truly enjoyed it and the game most definitely kept me at the edge of my seat when things started getting real. It got out some really great scares from me and just the entire atmosphere of the game had me not wanting to continue. I would love to see another game like this but much longer and with more lore. my only critique for the game was lack of length i just didn't get enough. i want more of this game or another game like this where I'm on edge and wanting to see what's next. Overall very great game and i definitely recommend giving this a try. to the dev, keep up the good work and God bless you.

I played both versions of your game and liked the subtle changes in the Final Build (24:06 in my vid--yes, I always take the 'scenic' route when I play.) Horror story was great, created dread, and I liked how it devolved into total insanity. Also impressed by my lack of survival skills. Enjoyed playing, thanks!
